On the 29th April, 1:30-4pm Seapoint Canoe Centre are hosted a public consultation for their new building project on the banks of the Royal Military Canal near Folkestone, Kent. We value the perspective of our community and so invited them to see and discuss the plans for a new centre.
Suggestions included the introduction of a café for club use, a gym and the option of canoe hire.
The council sold our previous building to developers in 2007 and we have been championing paddlesport using only shipping containers ever since. This year though, the opportunity to build a new centre has arisen. Designed to meet the needs of our current and future members, with modern facilities and an indoor training area, the plans are drawn and ready to be set in motion.
We value your comments as well. If you have any ideas for the new centre, or if you have any suggestions for fundraising, please get in touch!
